Are You a Carer? - A Carer is someone who takes on the responsibility of looking after a person with a disability, who has an illness, a special need, has a physical and/or mental illness; who is disabled or is affected by substance  misuse, is frail or elderly

Who is a Carer?
A Carer
is someone, who, without payment, provides help and support to a partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour, who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability.  Crossroads North Wales offers the the services of Trained Carer Support Workers to give Carers a break and to allow them 'time to be themselves'.
